Career fit racing program

meets 1x week dryland / Ski + 1x week strength + Training Plan

The Career Fit Racing Program is tailored for post-collegiate athletes who are committed to their careers but still aspire to race at a high level and enjoy training.

Recognizing that training often takes a back seat to work, relationships, and family responsibilities during this life stage, our program is designed to keep skiers competitive while seamlessly fitting into their daily and weekly schedules. 

Program Highlights: 

  • Individualized Plans: Skiers receive weekly training plans, carefully crafted to balance intensity and volume. These plans accommodate the demands of work and personal life. 

  • Group Sessions: While most training is done individually, we come together twice a week for a group workout. It’s a chance to connect, push each other, and share the camaraderie of training. 

  • Endurance/Intensity Workouts: 1x/week. Our structured workouts cover a range of activities, including skiing, mountain running, hiking, ski walking, roller skiing, track sessions, and mountain/road biking depending on the season. 

  • Strength Sessions: 1x/week. Group strength training sessions are scheduled either in the afternoons or mornings on training days

  • Our summer and fall sessions include a variety of activities such as hiking, ski bounding, trail running, mountain biking, track workouts, and roller skiing. One week builds up on the next as we move through periodization training blocks encompassing recovery, volume, and intensity training. This schedule aims to prepare you for your best ski season within an enjoyable and team-oriented environment.

    With the onset of winter, typically around early to mid-November, we transition to Nordic skiing. Our winter curriculum integrates ski instruction, racing techniques, and both endurance and interval ski training.

    Strength training is provided year-round.

    This year-round program not only fosters peak athletic development but also cultivates enduring friendships and teamwork.

    An optional on-snow camp is held over Thanksgiving week in Canmore, Canada.

    We provide complete team support, including coaching and race waxing services for local and national races, as well as USSA Senior National competitions.

    Strength training focuses on maintaining the strength gains made during summer and fall while keeping you fresh for races. With your teammates you’ll make fitness gains more enjoyable than training alone.

    Join us for a season opening on-snow ski camp over Thanksgiving week in Canmore, Canada.

Saturday training locations in and around Bozeman including local trailheads like Bozeman Creek, Hyalite, Crosscut
